So. MO Royal Rangers Network hosted a 2023 Commanders Conference for Royal
Ranger Leaders in the District. March 31st and April 1 held a special purpose in
bringing our District Royal Rangers in So. Mo up to speed on updates and
recognitions as well as fun fellowship.
Friday was full of all kinds of learning. District Staff RR Exec.
Committee Meeting from 9 to 4:45 with a lunch break. Training event was
held. Safety and Ranger Foundations. Friday evening was full of
Bunko game playing and Missions Auction.
Saturday was general session. Many speakers brought forth all kinds of
great stuff to grow your local outpost as well as prosper your church and all
the Christian Fellowship. Greg Perkins or Men's Ministries Director always
does a great job of bringing home the devotions and stirring our hearts and the
Spirit that is in us to always strive towards the mark of Jesus Christ in our
busy lives. John Hicks our District Director was very busy as well as
Richard Michael our District Training Coordinator in keeping things moving and
growing. Several updates from the National Office. Karl Fleigh and
JR Whinery talked about the Every Boy Initiative and how excited we are to see
RR ministry open to every Evangelical Church that is excited to have Royal
Ranger Ministry involved in their local church.
Oak Grove AOG hosted this event with Gary and Sabrina Rowe facilitating and
feeding the excited crowd. Jerry Hanies brought out some always sought
after FCF accrutements and Lindel Reece kept the Ranger Store open for
purchases. David Perkins has for 20 plus years kept our District
Conference Records and Pow Wow Records and was once again busy tallying up and
handing out notebooks. So many names I am missing to mention as you all
know you are so very valuable to RR ministry.
