We had a great dry FCF Fall Trace in the Daniel Boone Chapter this past
weekend. Highs of 86 and a low of 60.
46 people came by for a good ole fashioned FCF camp and a few visitors drop in
as well. Thanks to Rob Batchman and Dan Rockafellow for sharing the
pictures with us.
We had 9 young bucks, 2 of these became Buckskin Members, Jackson and Weston
Bell during the event. Also had one Lifetime Member Paul Serb added to the
Chapter fellowship.
Business Meeting raised 2400 for Missions half going to Missionary Julian Family
and the other half went to Camp Millhouser for Campground use.
Rob Batchman was our speaker Friday night and Saturday night and we enjoyed him
speaking for us and he did a great job of stirring the spirit in us to do more
for Jesus and His Church. Scouts spoke Saturday morning and got to share a bit
on something that impacted their life this past year in FCF. Some Ole Timers
spoke up imagine that, as well and shared from their hearts.
SW Division FCF VP, Many Arrows, John Mark Bell did a great job keeping us all
moving in the right direction with competitions and post shoots. Several young
bucks won prizes at these events as well as the council fire lighting with flint
and steel.
Our District Scout now a Wilderness member called 4 legs, green horns call him
Taylor Fifield pulled off some top notch thinking on dropping the post after we
put lots of rounds at our favorite knot target. Grin just keep the team going
Patch clean, Powder, Patch, Ball, cap at the firing line. Ozark took bragging
rights at dropping that post.
Lots of trading and round robins going on as well as wares being traded and
sold.
Silver Fox, Phil Stienbaugh held the Sunday morning service and we were all
blessed by it.
It was almost a perfect weekend if not for the occasional trial that just makes
us stronger. devil is a looser and no matter what he tries to pull we win.
