July 7th - 12  Eagle Rock, MO  National FCF Rendezvous

So. Missouri Daniel Boone Chapter report and pictures.  We had 40 there including the National Staff in our numbers and possibly 30 camping.  So many wonderful people donating their time and efforts to be a servant to our fellow FCF Members from all around the USA.  Total numbers not official were between 400 and 500 with visitors. 

I was told this morning at church.  You know there are not many men that will come out and do what you guys did this past week.  It was hot and  not much for comfort.  Thank you!  It makes a difference that will be rewarded.  It is easy to pick apart and talk about the imperfect that always takes place.  What do we expect really?  I only know ONE that didn't fail and His name is Jesus.  I really enjoyed the fellowship.  Enjoyed the tent camping and all the crafts and trading that took place.  The Traders Row was visited many times and each time you discovered something new.  Our Boys enjoyed the event.  They swam n the pools most afternoons.  Even played volleyball as well as most all of the FCF events. I enjoyed the craftsman's fair where folk brought things they had made.  I remember that Jackson Bell won 2nd place in Outfit for youngbucks and Ryan Reed won 3rd place in Hawk for ole timers.  With Mike Harris encouragement I entered one of my FCF Tender Box Candle Lanterns and won 3rd place. It was good to get home! These events make you appreciate HOME!
