NE Division Ranger Kids Day Camp 2010 September 11, 2010
We had 24 boys show up, there was 3 bicycles donated 2 from Wal-Mart & 1 from Sams club, The local EMT's showed up and properly fit and gave all three boys a helmet, we also had bats & balls, backpacks etc. donated by the Rawlings factory, every boy received a nice prize. WE had a great time in all the events which included a rope bridge for the obstacle course, it was a big hit with the boys. The speaker at the devotion kept the boys captivated for at least 20 min. The story was Jonathan and his shield barer (buddy) and their victory over the Philistines. Basically the boys have victory when they follow the Lords command and he is with them. I would say that this day camp was a total success. Commander Kevin LeVart with the help of Joe & his wife Sally did a great job putting this event on, and of course it couldn't of been done with out all the volunteers.
